Afternoon Delight is designed for you to take a break, with two hours of easy listening. Settle down after lunch, and do nothing more than enjoy music that’s quiet, calming and relaxing and prepare you for the last part of your day.
There’s plenty of music from the past, great crooners, ballads and popular big bands from the Big Band Era, with some jazz, some country and at times a little more contemporary music.
Along the way we have a comedy spot, and test your memory with a question or two about some of the great films that have graced our screens, and stage productions that have raised the curtain in our theatres.
Radio is a unique medium, different to print or television, it is far more personal which is why I enjoy doing it so much. It really feels like just you and me enjoying the music together.
